As a leader, I focus on smart and sustainable growth. I believe my teams should chart their own path while I help them stay focused on the destination. I build teams who independently prioritize and deliver routine objectives; but who come together on new projects and initiatives. My most proud moments are putting someone up for promotion and bringing a new teammate into the fold.

I use technology to solve people’s problems. When I conduct performance reviews, I turn to the data aggregation system I built to track my team’s wins. When I need to communication across timezones, I build automations to share my message even when I’m asleep. When I need to stay on-task, I program my lights to change colors from appointments on my calendar. Tech isn’t a panacea, but smart applications make our lives better and easier.

I’m a builder. I build things like no-code apps, automation workflows, and data-rich, interactive dashboards. I conceptualize and execute compact, durable user experiences. I architect these packages to be modular, so they can stand alone or integrate with other systems. My goal is to constantly iterate, building out successes as well as opportunities.

As a trained, clinical social worker, I’m an experienced advisor. I can mentor, coach, and guide in individual and group dynamics. I can bridge communication gaps and identify areas for compromise and collaboration. I’m an active listener who effectively retains, reflects, and re-frames conversations. Where appropriate, I hold space and withhold judgment.

In additional to clinical skills, I’ve trained in program administration. That training includes personnel supervision, grant management, program evaluation, data analysis, and leadership theory. I’ve used those skills as a program coordinator, a clinical informaticist, and a team lead.

My experiences in customer service and support go back over 15 years. Most recently, I’ve worked in software-as-a-service and electronic health records. I’ve supported a variety of industries, including healthcare, government, and education. In the past, I’ve held leadership positions in retail, food service, and hospitality.
